Evan Baggsは20年近くにわたり、ハウスとテクノの外縁に位置する広大なサウンドでジャンルの境界を破ってきた。そのヴァイブスには、2007年以来彼が拠点としているベルリンと、1998年以降、多様なアンダーグラウンドシーンが彼のDJプレイと音楽制作へのユニークなアプローチにインスピレーションを与えてきた故郷・ニューヨークが同居している。

レコードディギングへの深い情熱と、知られざる傑作を探り当てる耳を持つEvanのセットでは、ブレイク、ブロークンビート、エレクトロ、アシッドなど、すべてがエフォートレスにミックスされる。一方で彼自身のスタジオプロダクションは、志を同じくする世界的セレクター、Francesco Del Garda、Binh、Ryan Elliott、DJ Masdaらのレーベルからリリースされている。

For nearly two decades, Evan Baggs has been breaking boundaries with an expansive sound on the outer edges of house and techno. The vibe is equal parts Berlin—his home since 2007—and his hometown of New York, where a diverse underground scene first inspired his unique approach to DJing and music making since 1998.

Fueled by a deep passion for record digging and an ear for undiscovered gems, Evan’s sets hint toward breaks, broken beat, electro and acid — all effortlessly mixed together. Meanwhile, his own studio productions have been released on the labels of like-minded global selectors Francesco Del Garda, Binh, Ryan Elliott, DJ Masda and many others.

Focused more on the music than the spotlight, Evan’s sustained and organic rise has earned him a loyal following amongst both discerning crowds and fellow DJs. When not in the studio or the record shop, he can be found playing at the likes of Club Der Visionaere, fabric or Panorama Bar, and across the world from Tokyo to Tbilisi.

田中フミヤとともに【CHAOS】をオーガナイズしている。

TIMOは東京のクラブカルチャーシーンを20年以上支えてきたDJであり、現在も世代間を交錯し繋がりを生んでいるキーマンだ。

DJとしてキャリアを重ねていた20代で、2000年に自身が一番影響を受けたレーベル、アーティストでもある Get Perlonized の日本でのアフターパーティーで ZIP や Ricardo Villalobos とも共演も果たす。

自身の仕事ではアパレルブランドやホテルなどの施設、企業とのミュージックカルチャーの交流を目指したイベントプロデュースを通して、業種を超えた感性やネットワークが15年支えている「Rainbow Disco Club」やその他のパーティーで色濃く紡がれている。

TIMO has been a key figure in Tokyo’s club culture scene for over 20 years.

In 2000, he performed with ZIP and Ricardo Villalobos at the〈Get Perlonized〉after-party in Japan, the label and artists that influenced him the most.

He is currently producing events for music culture exchanges with apparel brands, hotels, and other institutions and companies. His sensibility and network of contacts are strongly reflected in the festival Rainbow Disco Club, which has been running for 15 years, and other parties.

地元・新潟でキャリアを始め、2015年以降は東京を拠点としながら、WOMB、VENT、Contactなど都内の大小様々な主要ベニューから、rural、Re:birth、Liquid Drop Grooveなど国内屈指のフェスティバルに至るまで幅広く活躍。また2017年から定期的に開催し、現在はWOMBを拠点としている主宰パーティー 『Modest』では、これまでにDJ NOBUやEric Cloutier、Valentino Moraなどと渡り合い、彼の存在感を示す大きな因子となっている。そして2023年には、10年以上かけて培ってきた実力を高く評価され、国内最高峰のパーティー『FUTURE TERROR』にも連続して出演。他とは一線を画するそのセンスは、東京を代表するDJとして厚い信頼を得ている。

His meticulous mixing utilizes the gradient of sounds, incorporating dynamic approaches at times to align thefocus of the dance floor, making him one of the best in the domestic scene. His unwavering skill is acquired through experiences gained from playing in various environments.
He began his career in his hometown of Niigata, and since 2015, has been based in Tokyo. He has been actively performing at various important venues in Tokyo such as WOMB, VENT, and Contact Tokyto etc. and some of the top festivals in Japan like rural, Re:birth, and Liquid Drop Groove. Since 2017, he has regularly hosted the party”Modest,” which is currently based at WOMB. Through this event, he has demonstrated his presence by playingwith DJs like DJ NOBU , Eric Cloutier and Valentino Mora. In 2023, he was highly recognized for the skills he had cultivated for over a decade and consecutively performed at the pinnacle of the domestic party, “FUTURETERROR.” Setting himself apart with a unique sense, he has earned strong trust as a representative DJ of Tokyo.

横須賀生まれ新宿育ち。
ポップス、ロック、ダンスミュージックなど、様々なジャンルから影響を受け、自身でも楽曲制作を行う。
2019年にEP「Starting now」でデビューした後、「You Better Know」「SyGyZy」「opal」をEPリリース。
tokyo vitaminのコンピレーションアルバムでの「YOU WORRY (feat. Stones Taro)」での共作をきっかけに、最新作ではKaoruko & Stones TaroとしてEP 「Y」 を2024年3月にリリースした。
現在はWOMBの24th Anniversaryや翠月でのリリースパーティなど都内のダンスフロアを中心に精力的に活動中。

2016年にDJ活動を開始。2020年に金沢市を拠点とするチームMo’Houseに加入、そののち上京、同年暮れ前にはNEP&GGKによるELCTRFYNのミックスシリーズに作品『T』を提供。2021年にはCYK RADIO 018に参加。自身のパーティ、Yo roeréではこれまでに強い影響を受けたDJたちをブッキングしてきた。2024年末には金沢ESŐにてレジデントパーティ、whimsicを始動。重くも軽快な、心骨伝う独自のグルーヴとしてその表現にあらわれるのは、ダンスフロアで1人没頭してきた数多くの瞬間と感じた光への解釈の結実だ。

2002年、東京生まれ。ハウス/テクノを軸に様々なパーティーに出演し、翠月 -MITSUKI- で立ち上げたユニット/レジデントパーティー Ready or Notとして東京を拠点に活動。

2023年4月にロンドンのLOOSE.fmにMIXを提供、2024年4月に韓国のVISLA FMに出演するなど国内外問わず活動の場も広げている。
