また、JASSSはベルリンの悪名高きパーティーHerrensaunaのレジデントを務める傍ら、2023年から2024年にかけては大規模なツアーを行い、Dekmantel、Primavera、W.H.O.L.E、Horstなどのフェスティバルや、アメリカ、メキシコ、コロンビアなど世界中の様々な場所でプレイし、彼女のシグネチャーであるジャンルを超えた選曲を世界中のオーディエンスに届けた。JASSSは、様々な人気クラブナイトのためにミックスを録音し、『Fabric Originals』シリーズにソロトラックを提供するなど、新たなクリエイティブの方向性を示唆している。2025年、JASSSは『AWOS』という新たな章をスタートさせる。『AWOS』は、JASSSのソロ、コラボレーション、そして変容するアイデンティティを共有するその他のプロジェクトの総称であり、ホームである。この進化するプラットフォームは、新しい音楽とライブパフォーマンスを発表する一方で、過去のコラボレーションも取り入れていく予定だ。次世代のオーディオビジュアルプロジェクト、JASSS x Ben Kreukniet： AWOSは、現代の不確実性の中で心理状態を探求するもので、4月にオランダのデン・ハーグで開催されたRewire Festivalにて初披露された。

JASSS (Silvia Jiménez Alvarez) is a Spanish music producer and DJ. Born and raisedin Asturias in Northern Spain. Her musical coming of age occurred simultaneously inmeatspace and online. Her critically acclaimed debut album, Weightless (iDEALRecordings, 2017), moved beyond the scope of her earlier work, composing pieces thatrecombined and twisted key elements drawn from the registers of industrial andexperimental. The album submerged sculpted messages deep into listeners’ neurons,embedding a vault of emotional content. Weightless evolved into a live performance
titled STEAM alongside visual artist Theresa Baumgartner in 2018,launching an intensetouring schedule with JASSS regularly DJing at clubs such as Berghain, De School, and Bassiani, alongside festival appearances at Mutek Montreal, Dekmantel, Sónar, and Primavera. She has had completed several residencies at EMS in Stockholm, and been an artist-in residence at Galeria Zé dos Bois in Lisbon (2018), and at the 2019 edition of the Berlin-Rom Express, a residency at Villa Massimo curated by Carsten Nicolai (akaAlva Noto).
When clubs were shuttered, Jiménez released Turbo Olé / We Solve This Talking (AD93, 2020), a show-stopping, apocalyptic, and dramatic work. Pitchfork describedTurbo Olé as “a Faustian anthem,” and the track quickly achieved cult status, receivingacclaim from RA, Mixmag, and DJ Mag. In 2021, JASSS redefined her musical language with A World Of Service (Ostgut-Ton, 2021), featuring her voice as a central element alongside electronics and metal-tinged percussion. A World Of Service also served as a vessel for new live performance possibilities. Collaborating with visual artist Ben Kreukniet, they developed an expansive, multisensory touring concept that combined performance, light, video, and sound—an AV show constructed across multiple LED screens with custom lighting. The performance recycled present-moment imagery using 3D scanning and video, creating a rapid journey through corporeal and ethereal environments while exploring symbolic projections of societal ideals and value systems. The show was presented to acclaim at festivals including Sónar (Barcelona),
HAU (Berlin), Lunchmeat (Prague), and Draaimolen (Tilburg).
Alongside being a resident at the globally renowned Herrensauna parties, JASSS continued to tour extensively through 2023 and 2024, bringing her signature cross-genre selections to audiences worldwide playing at festivals such as Dekmantel,Primavera, W.H.O.L.E, Horst and further afield in USA, Mexico and Columbia as well as many more places around the globe. JASSS recorded mixes for various beloved club nights and contributed a solo track to the Fabric Originals series, hinting at new creative directions. Looking ahead to 2025, JASSS embarks on a new chapter with AWOS, the umbrella term and home for JASSS’ solo, collaborative work and other projects which share a morphing identity. This evolving platform incorporates past collaborations while unveiling new music and live performances. The next-generation of their audiovisual project, JASSS x Ben Kreukniet: AWOS—an exploration of psychological states amid contemporary uncertainty—debuts at Rewire Festival in April, puncturing reality and peering through the perforated screen of existence. Nothing is fixed, nothing changes,only the meaning.

DJ SHUFFLEMASTER主宰の”四季協会”から初のEP「Sneakpeek」発表し、2nd EP「Angels from Hell」では映画監督の石原海をフィーチャー。プロデューサーとして海外のシーンからも評価を受け、近年はロサンゼルスの”ACID CAMP”やベルリンの”A7A”といった気鋭のレーベルから作品をリリースしている。
DJとしてもBOILER ROOMやApple Musicをはじめ、世界各国のラジオやプラットフォームからMIX音源が公開されている。テクノ、エレクトロを軸に、ブレイクビーツやハウスなど多様なジャンルのグルーヴを実験的に捉えながら、タフかつ深淵な世界観を表現するスタイルで、国内外の主要クラブ、オルタナティヴなアンダーグラウンドシーンからRainbow Disco Clubといった野外フェスティバルまで活動は多岐に渡る。ファッションショーやアートエキシビションとのコラボレーションも多数手がけている。
また、キュレーターとして日本のクィア・パーティシーンにとって大きなうねりとなった”MOTORPOOL”や先鋭的なダンスミュージックにフォーカスした”VITAL”を主宰。常に挑戦的かつオープンな姿勢でエレクトロニック・ダンスミュージックを探求し続けている。

which features film director Umi Ishihara. As a producer, she has gained
recognition in the global dance music scene, releasing music on such as LosAngeles’ ACID CAMP and Berlin’s A7A in recent years.
In terms of DJing, MAYUDEPTH’s style is rooted in techno & electro, incorporatingvarious genres such as industrial, house and breakbeats through anexperimental approach. This fusion expresses a powerful and profoundworldview through infectious grooves. Her DJ activities span major clubs in Japanand abroad, the alternative underground scene, and open-air festivals such asRainbow Disco Club. Her energetic and seamless mixing style has garnered aglobal following, with appearances on radio shows and platforms worldwide,including BOILER ROOM and Apple Music.
She is also a key curator in Tokyo’s club culture, leading “MOTORPOOL,” a majorforce in Japan’s queer scene, and “VITAL,” focused on innovative dance music.

Mars89は、妥協のないエレクトロニック・ミュージックで、東京のアンダーグラウンド・クラブシーンで最もユニークでエキサイティングな存在として知られている。

2008年に10代後半で東京に移住して以来、世界で最も人口の多い都市のひとつで生活することの難しさについて、あらゆる形で表現する人物として地位を確立してきた。

これまでの彼のディスコグラフィーは、様々なスタイルが混在している。UKダブステップ全盛期のサブベースや、ブリストルの特徴的なベースミュージックシーンの突然変異したリズムなどの音楽的な影響に加え、David LynchやDavid Cronenbergなどの映画監督、特に不気味で忌まわしいものに対する彼らの比類ない才能からも大きな影響を受けている。
クラブの群衆の潜在的なエネルギーに即座に火をつけるトラックや、ディストピアやバイオテクノロジーの崩壊を連想させる不穏な風景にリスナーを連れて行くアンビエントトラックが彼の武器であり、この2つをシームレスに織り成す能力こそが、自分の感性を使って世界全体をデザインするアーティストとしての彼の特徴である。このことは、Bokeh Versionsとの境界を超えたVRの探求や、Patrick Savileとのコラボレーションにも反映されている。

また、彼が立ち上げたレーベルNocturnal Technologyは、その名の通り、夜のエレクトロニック・サウンドをコンスタントにリリース。レーベル名のNocturnal Technology(夜行性の技術)は、DJの技術が夜間に活気づくことを意味している。ロゴは、夜間に活動し音波を見通す動物であるコウモリへのオマージュであり、レーベルのコンセプトである 「夜行性の技術 」を象徴している。

音楽以外では、UNDERCOVERの高橋盾とのコラボレーションプロジェクトでミリタリーウェアを解体し、真のパンク精神で反戦を訴えるコレクションを発表したほか、同ブランドからレコードもリリース。後者は、UNDERCOVERのAW19コレクションのために制作したショーのサウンドトラックをベースにしたもので、Virgil Ablohが主催するクラブナイト「Sound Design」で高橋がキュレーションした際に共演したThom Yorke、Zomby、Low Jackのリミックスが収録されてる。この3人のアーティストがリミックスの依頼にすぐに応じたことは、Mars89が世界の同世代のアーティストからいかに高く評価されているかを示している。

Mars89は、東京のアクティヴィストコミュニティの重要な存在でもあり、Protest Raveでは、サウンドシステムを積んだトラックでハードテクノを鳴らしながら東京の象徴的な景色の中を走り抜け、若者に政治的活動への参加を促している。

Mars89 is a musician whose uncompromising electronic compositions have cemented him as one of the most unique and exciting prospects within Tokyo’s underground club circuit, but his contribution to the city’s culture extends far beyond the dancefloor.

Since moving to Tokyo in his late teens in 2008, Mars89 has established himself as someone whose creative output — in all its shapes and forms — provides a vital perspective on the vicissitudes of living in one of the most populous urban metropolises in the world.

His discography to-date is a bricolage of styles, channeling the guttural, sub-bass-infused body music from UK dubstep’s heyday and the mutant rhythms of Bristol’s signature bass music scene — some of Mars89’s foundational musical influences — as well as the auteurs of cinema, from Kubrick to Lynch, and, specifically, their unparalleled flair for all things eerie, abject and uncanny. In his arsenal, he possesses tracks that can immediately ignite the latent energy of a heaving club crowd, as well as ambient compositions that transport listeners into unsettling alien landscapes evocative of sci-fi dystopias and biotechnological collapse. It’s his ability to weave seamlessly between the two that sets him apart as an artist who ultimately uses his sensibilities to design entire worlds, and this is also reflected in his boundary-pushing VR explorations with label Bokeh Versions and collaborations with designers like Patrick Savile.

Under the alias Temple Ov Subsonic Youth, known for his live hardware sets, he creates chaotic dance floors through the heavy bass of drum machines and distorted sounds born from layered, diverse sampling.
Additionally, his label Nocturnal Technology, as the name suggests, consistently releases nocturnal electronic sounds. The label name, ‘Nocturnal Technology,’ refers to the idea that a DJ’s skills come to life during the night. The logo pays homage to the bat, an animal that is active at night and perceives its surroundings through sound waves, symbolizing the label’s concept of ‘nocturnal technology.’

Outside of music, Mars89 has collaborated with fashion brand Undercover’s Jun Takahashi, on a collection that deconstructed military garments, making them into a powerful anti-war statement in true punk spirit, as well as releasing a record through the brand. The latter referenced the show soundtrack he had created for Undercover’s AW19 collection, and featured remixes by Thom Yorke, Zomby and Low Jack, who he had played alongside at the Takahashi-curated instalment of Virgil Abloh’s club night, Sound Design. All three of the artists signed up for remix duty immediately upon request, demonstrating how highly regarded Mars89 is by his global contemporaries.

Mars89 is also a key figure within Tokyo’s activist community, spearheading an anti-establishment ‘Protest Rave’ that has seen sound trucks drive through some of the city’s most iconic vistas while blasting out hard techno, galvanising Tokyo’s youth into new, emergent strands of political engagement.
