USハウスにおける最重要デュオMASTERS AT WORKの1人としても知られるKENNY DOPEの東京公演の全詳細が決定した。
ブルックリン出身のDJ / プロデューサーKENNY DOPEにとって9年ぶりのソロ来日ツアーとなる今回、東京公演は5月9日（土）に渋谷MIDNIGHT EASTにて開催。
O-EASTのメインフロアのステージにはKENNY DOPEのほか、DJ NORIとMUROによるDJユニットCAPTAIN VINYL、90年代半ばより活動を開始したヒップホップDJでありハウスダンスのオリジネーターでもあるKANGO、ヒップホップやR&B、ファンク、ディスコを中心としたプレイを得意とするDJ / モデルの矢部ユウナが登壇する。
東間屋フロアには渋谷・宇田川町の老舗レコードショップManhattan Recordsによるキュレートとなっており、Scotoma Music/Jazzy Sport よりgrooveman Spot。次世代レーベル/コレクティブとして注目を集めている「w.a.u」に所属のシンガーソングライター / DJのLil Summer、そして同ショップからはMarTとPoLoGod.の2人が参加する。さらにこの日は、O-EASTのロビーにてManhattanRecordsのポップアップストアも開催予定だ。
KENNY DOPEがMASTERS AT WORKとしてプロデュースを手がけた、Brian Jacksonの最新アルバム『Now More Than Ever』が2026年5月29日にリリース予定。Black ThoughtやMoodymannらが参加した本作は、R&B／ソウルを軸にブラックミュージックの現在地を提示する作品として注目を集めている。
Full details have been announced for the Tokyo performance by KENNY DOPE, known as one half of the legendary US house duo MASTERS AT WORK.
This marks Brooklyn-born DJ and producer KENNY DOPE’s first solo tour of Japan in nine years; the Tokyo show will take place on Saturday, May 9 at Shibuya MIDNIGHT EAST.Joining KENNY DOPE on the main floor stage at O-EAST will be the DJ unit CAPTAIN VINYL,featuring DJ NORI and MURO; KANGO, a hip-hop DJ active since the mid-90s and an originator ofhouse dance; and DJ/model Yuna Yabe, who specializes in sets centered around hip-hop, R&B, funk, and disco.
The Azumaya Floor will be curated by Manhattan Records, a long-standing record shop in Udagawa-cho, Shibuya.
Performers include grooveman Spot from Scotoma Music/Jazzy Sport; singer-songwriter and DJ Lil Summer, who belongs to the up-and-coming / label/collective “w.a.u”; and two artists from the shop itself, MarT and PoLoGod. Additionally, a Manhattan Records pop-up store is scheduled to open in the O-EAST lobby on the same day.
Brian Jackson’s latest album, *Now More Than Ever*, produced by KENNY DOPE as MASTERS AT WORK, is scheduled for release on May 29, 2026. Featuring contributions from Black Thought and Moodymann,The album is garnering attention as a work that showcases the current state of R&B and
soul.

Four-time Grammy nominee Kenny “Dope” Gonzalez is one of the most influential DJ/producers in dance music history. As one half of the legendary duo Masters At Work alongside Louie Vega, he has shaped global dance music with a signature sound that blends house, hip-hop, Latin, jazz and soul. Together they have produced and remixed for artists including Björk, Janet Jackson, Daft Punk and Luther Vandross.
Kenny’s solo project The Bucketheads produced the global club anthem “The Bomb! (These Sounds Fall Into My Mind).” He also co-founded Kay-Dee Records with Keb Darge and runs his own label Dopewax, both dedicated to uncovering and reissuing rare funk and soul recordings.

20歳の時にダンスを通じてNYに行きNYのクラブカルチャーに衝撃を受け95年位からDJ活動をスタートした東京を拠点とするDJ。
2001年から18年間毎週火曜日にClub Harlemで行われたRED ZONEのレジデントDJとなり、Hip Hopを軸に様々なジャンルを縦横無尽にMixする事を意識したオープンフォーマットDJとしてのスタイルを確立。
ダンサーでもあり日本のハウスダンスのオリジネーターROOTSのメンバーでもある。
Hip HopDJの活動とは別にハウスミュージックを中心としたDJ、楽曲制作リリース等も積極的に行い活動の場を広げている。
矢部ユウナ
雑誌のオーディションでグランプリを獲得しモデルデビュー。2017年からはDJとしての活動を本格化し、SUMMER SONICやGREENROOM FESTIVALといった日本最大級の音楽フェスをはじめ、クラブイベントやファッションパーティーに出演。
HIPHOP、R&B、FUNK、DISCOなどブラックミュージックを中心とした選曲を得意とし、卓越したセンスで多くの観客を魅了している。
また、動画編集も得意とし、YouTubeやSNSに投稿する動画はすべて自身で制作。コンテンツを通じてファッションと音楽の魅力を発信し、同世代を中心に高い支持を集めている。
独自のスタイルとクリエイティブな感性を武器に、次世代をリードする存在として注目される。
Yuna Yabe debuted as a model after winning the grand prix at a magazine audition, and in 2017 started her career as a DJ in earnest, performing at Japan’s biggest music festivals such as SUMMER SONIC and GREENROOM FESTIVAL, as well as club events and fashion parties.
He specialises in black music selections such as HIPHOP, R&B, FUNK and DISCO, attracting large audiences with his outstanding sense of music.

2012年東日本大震災を機に出身地である仙台に居を移し、地元ローカルで緩くも非常にユニークな活動を続けている。
2020年4月自主レーベル「Scotoma Music」を立ち上げ2021.8月「LUV 4 ME」をリリース。

福岡出身のシンガーソングライター / DJ 。Aaliyah、Erykah Badu、J Dillaや現行のアーティスト達に影響を受け、R&BやNeo Soulなどのジャンルを中心に作曲している。2023年3月にファーストEP『Rojo』をリリース。同年7月にはロンドンでのライブでROMderfulと共演し、9月にはSUNSET LIVEやBayside Festivalなどのフェスにも出演。
次世代のレーベル/コレクティブとして注目を集めている「w.a.u」に所属し、同レーベルのアーティスト達やS.A.R.、TOSHIKI HAYASHI(%C)、grooveman Spotなどともコラボ曲をリリースしている。
